Change of Heart

This team is in disarray...there is no arguing that.  They are young kids who at the start of the season had never experienced a spotlight so bright and never imagined the humiliating depths in which they are now mired.  This group of young men are completely lost and we as fans need to help them find their way.  I've decided that I'm going to help set them back on course.

We as fan have to be part of the soultion here instead of adding to the problem.  The bitching and griping has got to stop, now!  We all know that this season is an unmitigated disaster, so we have to band together to help keep the program rolling.

Everything negative has been said and it is now time to stop skewering the coaching staff and AD and whoever else and start supporting the players.  They need us more than ever now.  We as a group of fans have been accused of being very fair-weather, and even as a die-hard myself I can't totally deny those accusations. (We may love our Cards but really aren't the most game saavy fan-base out there when you really get down to it.)

What I'm trying to say is that even though our coach blows and the program is spiraling out of control there is one thing that we can do to help the situation and prove that the program is still standing strong.  If we don't believe in ourselves and our players why would anyone else.  We can show that we really are elite fans by backing our boys no matter what happens.

The time for booing and bitching and complaining as passed.  Everyone from the President of the University to the AD to the waterboys know that something is royaly wrong.  Calling for a coach's head and walking out on games will only scare top prospects and other truly elite coaches away from this program.

With the national spotlight of humiliation clearly shining on us, why don't we show everyone how classy we can be and prove that we truly are and elite program.
