PrintA truly remarkable accomplishment. Congratulations to Howard Schnellenberger and the Florida Atlantic football program.
The Sun-Sentinel's Ethan Skolnick has a fantastic piece on Schnellenberger and the FAU program that I highly suggest taking a look at.
This may very well have been the high point of bowl season as far as feel good stories are concerned.

and frankly, I hope he had a snootful after the game myself and enjoyed himself immensely-- although I understand from people close to him that he doesn't anymore
he deserves to celebrate a lot more than you or me -- after taking a bunch of sh*t like this over the yrs from a bunch of people who have never accomplished a fraction of what he has--much less had the balls to even try
