Poster contest results
First things first, here are the correct answers to the contest questions:
- ANDRE MCGEE led U of L with 15 points (nobody got this one right).
- McGee DID NOT score 20 points.
- EARL CLARK was U of L's second leading scorer with 14 points.
- JUSTIN HAWKINS led New Mexico State with 25 points.
- Louisville DID NOT score more than 75 points.
- Ari Wolfe said "why not" ONCE during the broadcast (after the second of three consecutive three-pointers by McGee).
- Terry Meiners DID interview Rick Pitino at halftime.
- Will Scott DID NOT make a three-pointer.
- Terrence Williams DID NOT dunk.
- Preston Knowles finished with ZERO field goals.
VeteranCard correctly answered seven of the ten questions, and was the only person who correctly predicted that Preston Knowles wouldn't make a field goal, a pick that ultimately proved to be the difference between having two posters and not having two posters.
Congratulations VeteranCard, you should be receiving an email shortly.
At the other end of the spectrum sits checkplease and Web, two users who both succeeded in answering all ten questions incorrectly. Because of this, I'm sorry to announce that Web and checkplease have each received lifetime bans from Card Chronicle.
Merry Christmas everybody.

The "highest scoring player answer" of Twill looked good in the first half, storming to a 9 points early on. Unfortunately, he couldnt hold off the Wee Man for the title. Surely no one saw that coming.
Hopefully there will be other days because my answers are practicing hard over the holidays and I am not going to tolerate another performance like this. In fact, my "Terry Meiners response" will be suspended indefinitely for undisclosed violations of team rules (probably for not taking the day off right before Christmas). We'll see when he can return.
Merry Christmas to the winner but I have to say its even more impressive to get all the answers wrong.
