6'5" sharpshooter wing from Evansville. Listed as a 3 star in insidetheville. I smell a #1 recruiting class!

Is the YUM! Center already paying off for us?

I bet it is not a coincidence that we are getting these recruits right after they visit the Yum Center. As impressive as that place is from the photos, can you imagine the reaction that these kids and their parents have when they see it? These kids want to commit to us NOW to make sure we don't offer their scholly to someone else. This is great!

Worried

I'm all for commitments from great players, but its seems we're getting an awful lot of shooting guards. Especially if/when Evans commits.

Whe you shoot 33% from 3 point land

like last yr

and the 3 point shot is still statistically way more "powerful" than the 2 pointer IF you can shoot it

then, well, I can understand the coaches' recruiting focus.

I think the 33% is a bit misleading. If you take out all the rocks T-Will was tossing at the backboard last season, I bet our percentage wasn't that bad. If he starts that crap again this season, I'm going to run down to the court and throw a $4 hotdog at him. Fresh from the concession stand.

Kuric reminds me of Reddick

No, not his performance to date, but the look about his face and eyes. I've been wondering until now what RP really sees in the kid, maybe he sees that same look. Having a pair of hot 3 shooters would definitely be a nice balancing to the front court power recruits coach is stacking up.
