Louisville Lands Dale Martin

Highly recruited running back Dale Martin will play football for the University of Louisville next fall, this according to ESPNU which was broadcasting the East Meets West All-American game featuring Martin on Saturday.

In 2006, the 5-foot-11, 195-pound tailback rushed for more than 1,600 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior at Bolingbrook High School in Illinois.

Martin had offers from Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Tennessee but ultimately chose the '06 Big East and Orange Bowl champs.

Welcome to the best offense in the country Dale.

At some point some of these "skill" position players (and I hate that term, as if there are any positions that dont require skill), will need to move to defense or transfer. Looking at just RB and WR next year there are a LOT of players that have a lot of athletic ability. You wonder if Chris Vaughn would be better off at safety or CB. Or Scott Long as a CB? I hear these guys can play but they arent going to see many catches with Harry and Mario in front of them.
