Dear GOP of College football

Excuse me guys. But I am going to do the unthinkable and do my best to interject logic into a discussion involving college football.

I am just sick of seeing and hearing everyone from normal fans to so-called professional broadcasters and writers flat-out hate on the Louisville Cardinals. And justify such actions by using hypothetical situations (i.e., if UL was in the SEC they would have 2 losses), double-standards, last years results, and just old contemptible bias.

Louisville football is the evil empire crashing the good old boy network of huge schools with huge money. It is breaking the vice grip hold from teams coming for power conference that are the best in the nation, because important people tell other people that they are the best in the nation.

One loss teams and pundits claim that teams such as Texas, UF, etc. should jump Louisville due strength of schedule. Well here are two words that your 100,000 seat stadiums and huge alumni donations often keep you from hearing: TOUGH SHIT.  If you Texas had beat tOSU at home, you would first in the nation. If you UF had beat Auburn you would have right to compete with Louisville spots in the polls.  But, both of you lost. College football is not the NFL, every game counts. And if you lose, better luck next year. There are no mulligans in the college football game.

The beauty of sports is that there is none (to little) bullshit involved on the field. If you win the most you are the best. If you lose to someone, they are better then you. That is how football works. It is the argument that Louisville would not be doing as well in the SEC or else where. Well they are not their, thus making the argument void. Thinking Louisville would be 6-2, or 4-3 in the SEC is not enough base for punishing Louisville or any team. 8-0 is a FACT, how we would do in another conference is your OPINION. And, sorry god old boys, FACTS beat OPINIONS.
